1. Jesus literally said He was coming to give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45) and again in Luke 24:49 He says His mission is to come, die and be resurrected SO THAT REPETNANCE AND THE REMISSION OF SINS is preached in His name.

2. Paul also emphasised caring for the weak and the poor just as it was passed down to him (Gal 2:10, 1 Thes 5:14). Jesus also gave harsh rules like MERELY LOOKING AT A WOMAN with lust is adultery.

3. Jesus also said give to Caesar the things that are Caesars thus advocating payment of tax to an ungodly empire, which is in line with Paul.

4. Jesus did not spend time preaching about sexual immorality because this was an uncontroversial matter among first century Jews, which was His audience. You could line 1000 of them up and ask their views on sex, sexuality and marriage and they would tell you the exact same thing. Jesus Himself affirmed the natural order in Genesis (Matthew 19:1-6). Paul on the other hand was writing mainly to Gentiles who did not have this Jewish background so sex and sexuality was much more of an issue to be addressed hence it makes sense he worried about this more. When a Jewish audience is in view, say in Hebrews or James, you don’t hear anything about sexual immorality in them thus corroborating my point.

5. Again this just makes no sense. Jesus makes Himself equal to God (John 5:18), calls Himself the Lord of the Sabbath, the good shepherd, Lord and Master, the judge on the final day...Paul on the other hand also called himself the chief of sinners and a former blasphemer who obtained mercy and after the verses you quoted he always acknowledges the grace that God bestowed to him.

There is no contradiction between Jesus and Paul, there is nothing Paul preached Jesus would dispute because Paul got his message from Jesus.

Tanner, I understand you have to have something to write about and bash Christianity anyway you can but have some respect for truth my friend. You are knowingly telling blatant lies and wildly distorting the Bible to very propagandistic ends and you will stand before God and give account of these things when you die.

I try to reign in some things I want to say and be respectful because I believe deep down there is a reasonable person behind these articles. Just have respect for truth would be my only plea.

Have a good day and would keep you in my prayers.
