Why is "We" needed to emphasize the royalty of Allah? If the big deal with Allah is the he is only one and Islam is the worship of one God, why not use "I"?

Is Allah admitting that "We" is more royal than "I"? Is the Christian God which is a real "We" as a trinity not then more royal than Allah who identifies as a "We" but is really an "I"?
