Ah, so we have gone from, "there is no Jewish belief in resurrection until the 2nd century BC" to "It was not unique to the Jews" and "It doesn't mean it is true".

Utterly irrelevant whether or not it's true, utterly irrelevant that it's not unique to the Jews. The key question is "Was the resurrection as a belief a thing in the Jewish religion before the 2nd century BC?"

And I think it's very interesting how against proof texting you are until you need to use something you think supports your case in Josephus or the virtual Jewish library.

So do you now concede you were wrong and belief in bodily resurrection has ALWAYS been a thing in the Jewish religion, way before 2nd Century CE?

If you concede this, we can then go any direction you want. Whether you want me to prove it is true or that belief in the resurrection of Jesus is unique...anything you want, let us settle the "no resurrection in Jewish belief until 2nd century BC and the Macabbees claim".

Appreciate the engagement by the way. You will not believe how many people block me for pressing them on a claim they themselves have made in an article.
