As GK Chesterton said if people cease to believe in God, they don't cease to believe in anything, they start to believe everything.

Remember for years in the west, every liberty enjoyed was underpinned by and had it's foundation in Christian values. Liberty can never be absolute even legally speaking.

Now that society has systematically eroded that Christian foundation, the question now is "how far do you take liberty?". This liberty divorced from Christian foundation is the struggle society is in today. Where exactly do we draw the line in exercising liberty?

Christ said He is truth. Not that He says true things. He is truth. That means there is objective truth, something that is true irrespective of how anybody feels about it. Christ calls Himself the way, not one of many ways. The church is trying to bend to make people happy but is inadvertently facilitating the confusion in society.

Jesus' invitation is wide and broad, but the road that leads to salvation, found in Himself, is and has always been narrow.

Sorry my own rant went longer than I intended but I hope this helps. And I pray you come back to the Lord Jesus and become a partaker of the eternal life He offers.

God bless you Alexander.
