Francis Foster of Triggernometry wrong, Valentina Gomez right…
The chaps on Triggernometry seem to be some of the most intelligent, articulate and well spoken people on the internet but for some reason they have a very hard time wrapping their heads around what Islam really is.
In their latest YouTube video, Francis Foster (the one with the glasses) criticises the speech of Valentina Gomez at the Unite the Kingdom rally. Valentina had said “if the Muslims take over, they will rape your daughters and behead your men”. Francis clutched his pearls at such language denouncing it as extreme and inflammatory.
To be clear, I do not know that I would personally have worded things the way Valentina did but is the heart of what she was communicating accurate? Heck to the yes! Islam, in fact, Mr Francis, is a religion of murder and rape!
The Quran calls for the death of unbelievers,
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”
(Surah 9:29)
It admonishes as many as take it seriously to kill and be killed,
“Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain”
(Surah 9:111)
Muhammad himself, the perfect pattern of conduct in Islam (Surah 33:21) killed people in the name of his religion,
“It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said:
I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah.”
(Sahih Muslim, Book 1 Hadith 33)
According to Muhammad, your life is not protected from him until you acknowledge Allah as God and himself as Allah’s messenger.
Furthermore, Muhammad himself beheaded people,
“Then the Messenger of Allah commanded that ditches should be dug, so they were dug in the earth, and they were brought tied by their shoulders, and were beheaded. There were between seven hundred and eight hundred of them. The children who had not yet reached adolescence and the women were taken prisoner, and their wealth was seized. All of this is stated both briefly and in detail, with evidence and Hadiths, in the book of Sirah which we have written, praise and blessings be to Allah.”

Not only that, the Quran permits rape by allowing those who take it seriously to take “captives of war” from the unbelievers and sex with those captives of war is permitted.
In praising the virtuous Muslim, the Quran says a good Muslim is one,
“Who abstain(s) from sex,
Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame”
(Surah 23:5–6)
More to the point, there is another Quranic verse that advocates for taking captives of war. Remember here, war is the perpetual state between the Muslim and the unbeliever (per Surah 9:29 and the hadith of Muhammad).
“And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess…”
(Surah 4:24)
The background to that verse as represented in the hadith is as follows,
“Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah her pleased with him) reported that at the Battle of Hanain Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah’s Messenger (may peace te upon him) seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:
“ And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)”
(Sahih Muslim, Book 17 Hadith 41)
That verse was specifically revealed to encourage the men to have sex with captives of war despite their husbands still being alive with them.
Not only that, Muhammad also raped Safiya, the very day he beheaded all adult males in her tribe and tortured her husband Kinana to death. Even one of his guards had to stand guard all night afraid for his safety,
“At night, after the Holy Prophet’s (sa) marriage with Hazrat Safia (ra), Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari (ra) stood guard outside the tent with his sword unsheathed and remained on guard for the entire night, circling all four sides of the tent. In the morning, when the Holy Prophet (sa) saw Hazrat Abu Ayub (ra) outside the tent, he asked him, “O Abu Ayub, what is the matter?” He replied saying, “O Messenger (sa) of Allah, I feared for your wellbeing since her father, husband and the people of her nation have been killed and she has only recently become a believer. Thus I stood guard the entire night for the sake of your security.” Upon this, the Holy Prophet (sa) prayed for Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari (ra)…”

Now, what do we see with Boko Haram? Terror attacks and the capture of Chibok girls in Nigeria? One of whom made an appearance on Richard Palin’s “Nigeria” documentary and stated that she was, as a school girl, offered the choice of marriage or being a sex slave (in her words, “…or we can do whatever we want with you). What do we see with ISIS? Terror attacks and the rape of Yazidi women? What did we see with HAMAS on October 7th? Murder and rape of Jewish women? What have we seen from a subset of predominantly Pakistani Muslims in the UK? rape of Britain’s prepubescent girls? Their Muslim colleagues have also given us the 7/7 bombings, the killing of David Ames, the stabbing of a pensioner to death for Gaza, Manchester bombing of Ariana Grande concert.
And remember, to be a Muslim, you have no say about anything Allah and his messenger have ruled on (Surah 4:65, 33:36) so if call yourself a Muslim and any of this disgusts you, then you have to leave the religion!
So I ask after all this, how exactly is Valentina Gomez wrong about Islam again?
Francis can clutch his pearls all he wants but what Valentina has pointed out is not just inflammatory rhetoric, this is Islam for 1400 years. I really hope Sharia does not come knocking on his door steps because if it does, he will find out pretty quickly that reasoning with it in a posh British accent is pretty ineffective.
To be clear, this is not an endorsement on everything Valentina Gomez has ever said. She goes too far for even me sometimes (and that is saying something) but on the specific statement Francis complained about, she is 100% correct on that one.
