Good point,

But a Christian is one who has put faith in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection for his sins. And there is scope for growth in that.

A "Muslim" on the other hand has to follow every ruling of Muhammad which is impossible because they are contradictory and some of them make no sense...and at the end of the day there is no guarantee of paradise or security in that...unless you die in the process of Jihad.

In CHRISTianity, there is security in Christ and a guarantee of God's love then you as a Christian can grow in that. As a Muslim, zero security and follow all commands of Muhammad.

So the comparison is just not there.
