How Sadiq Kahn called Trump a fantastic Muslim

Sadiq Kahn, the Mayor of London for nearly a decade now, is arguably the most persecuted man in the UK, at least according to him. He feels unsafe in the UK as a Muslim. Imagine this, a Muslim is a mayor in the capital of a major Christian country in the heart of Christian Europe! Can you think of one Middle Eastern Muslim country where a Christian can hold a position of influence? Is this not explicitly forbidden in Islamic scholarship which emphasizes that no Kafir should hold positions of influence in Allah’s earth and that it is the duty of Muslims to fight against this when they can? Can I as a Christian be a hall monitor in a Muslim school? Yet, we have this guy complaining about how discriminated against he is, as a Muslim and a “brown” guy.

He recently stated about Trump,

I was speaking out against somebody whose policies were sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, racist, [it] wasn’t because I wanted to come to his attention, [it was] because I have a responsibility to speak out if I think something’s affecting not just Londoners, but… all of us.

“It’s not great. Would I do it again? Absolutely, because you’ve got to speak truth to power.”

“Many will be fearful about what it will mean for democracy and for women’s rights, or how the result impacts the situation in the Middle East or the fate of Ukraine”.

Now remember, the same Kahn identifies as a Muslim. So let us see how his prophet measures up to his own standard. He called Trump, sexist and says he cares about women’s rights but let us see what his prophet says about women,

“Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

Once Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, “O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women).” They asked, “Why is it so, O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ?” He replied, “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.” The women asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?” He said, “Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?” They replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?” The women replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her religion.”

(Sahih Bukhari Book 6 Hadith 9)

And again,

“Narrated Abu Bakra:

During the battle of Al-Jamal, Allah benefited me with a Word (I heard from the Prophet). When the Prophet heard the news that the people of the Persia had made the daughter of Khosrau their Queen (ruler), he said, “Never will succeed such a nation as makes a woman their ruler.”

(Sahih Bukhari Book 92 Hadith 50)

And again,

“Masruq reported:

It was mentioned before’A’isha that prayer is invalidated (in case of passing) of a dog, an ass and a woman (before the worshipper, when he is not screened). Upon this ‘A’isha said: You likened us to the asses and the dogs…”

(Sahih Bukhari Book 4 Hadith 305)

So women are deficient in religion because of their period, deficient in intelligence, would doom a nation if they rule it and have the same effect as an ass and a dog. On to the next accusation, Trump’s policies, says Sadiq Kahn, are homophobic, his prophet however says about “The people of Lut” (I.e. the acts of Sodom and Gomorrah)

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to.

(Jami At-Tirmidhi Book 17 Hadith 40)

And again,

“It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said concerning those who do the action of the people of Lut:

“Stone the upper and the lower, stone them both.

(Sunan Ibn Majah Book 20 Hadith 30)

If Sadiq Kahn thinks Trump’s policies are homophobic, I wonder what he thinks about his prophet’s policies.

On accusing Trump of being racist, that is rich coming from a guy who worships the whitest prophet this side of the Mississippi. I have already written extensively about the racism inherent in Islam in another article, “Why Islam, not Christianity, is the white man’s religion”. Suffice it to say here that, as a Muslim, Sadiq Kahn is bound to believe that Muslims are superior to everybody else,

“You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah…”

(Surah 3:110)

And everybody else who is not a Muslim is essentially garbage,

Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.”

(Surah 98:6)

And this is the guy calling someone else racist?

Now Mr Kahn believes truth should be spoken to power especially if it is something that affects not just Londoners but everybody. So when Muslims in London are supporting Hamas and terrorizing Jews as Sadiq Kahn’s Quran says in Surah 9:29 and as his prophet says in the Hadith, would Mr Kahn be willing to call his prophet and his Quran out?

The point of this whole thing is that if Sadiq Kahn calls Trump a racist, homophobic, misogynist against women’s rights, there are two options. Either Mr Kahn thinks Muhammad and Allah are homophobic, misogynistic and racist or he is complementing Trump as one of the finest Muslims on the planet.

If Mr Kahn really wants, in his own words,

… a world where racism and hatred is rejected, the fundamental rights of women and girls are upheld…

Then he really should work towards a world where nobody takes his religion seriously.
