If we are quite mining as you say why don't we find these scriptures aligning with just about anybody in human history? Why does it all seem to make sense in reference to Jesus? Is it our fault that the scriptures just happen to align with Jesus Christ' life death/ministry and even Jesus Himself said all of scripture is a testimony about Him. And He proved it by rising from the dead AS THE SCRIPTURE SAID HE WOULD!

When we see He was born of a virgin, of the tribe of Judah, betrayed per Psalm 41:9, died on the cross per Psalm 22, had his garments divided, offered vinegar for his drink. And we ask ourselves who else in human history does that fit?

You know what, you give me any other person in human history that the prophecies about Jesus could be true about and I will never argue from OT prophecy again.
