Now herein lies the hypocrisy here...and I am not insulting you, just pointing something out . Context of original argument is that someone told me to keep my beliefs to myself and then aired his own belief.

When I pointed out the hypocrisy of him airing his belief while telling me to keep mine to myself, he said his belief is a fact. Well I've got news for you.

My belief in Christianity is a fact as well! Christianity is based on facts. It is a historical fact that Jesus Christ existed, did works nobody has ever done, was a wise teacher, died and contrary to established Jewish theology and common sense at the time, against their better convictions, his followers were certain they had seen and interacted with a resurrected Jesus.

I have not denied that there are wars in the name of Abrahamic faiths and Islam but for you to narrow down your perception of religion to "source of perennial conflicts" is factually wrong as I elucidated with the historical facts above.
