Okay so your original statement was that Christianity was made up by people in the past to gain control over men.

So are you saying it was made up to gain control over men that were already IN the group? Because if it was made up to gain control, there was nobody IN the group to gain control over to begin with hence the control they would have wanted to gain would be directed OUTwards.

And people OUTwards hated and persecuted Jesus and the first Christians. So the IN THE GROUP thing makes no sense.
