So the Quran does not tell you why Jesus was killed. You have to refer to the Bible and history. But the Bible and history tell us exactly why He was killed. He claimed to be a divine being, which is blasphemous according to Jewish law. According to the Quran Jesus was just going around preaching one God and it is absurd that anybody would want to kill him for doing that. Does the Jesus of the Quran line up with the Jesus of history? Or does the Quran present an altogether fictional Jesus?
