Why jump to Surah 60:8 when Surah 9:30, LITERALLY THE NEXT VERSE tells you why they should be fought. THE Jews believe Ezra is the Son of God (which is blatant falsehood) and The Christians believe Jesus is the Son of Allah?

Add to the fact that ALL the mainstream commentators on the Quran see Surah 9 as an eternal command for all time, the final marching order given to the prophet which abrogates all the peaceful verses including Surah 2.
