So we have moved from the ignorance of "I don't know" to the faith of "someday we will know". And yeah sure, Bigfoot has as much explanatory scope as God does!

And these laws of physics, which you expect to never be broken come from where exactly?

And you expect the laws to be consistently upheld why?

Science presupposes order in nature because, according to the pioneers of modern science, a rational mind created the universe. Hope you are aware that all the presuppositions that undergird science are all religious?

- order in nature expected hence it's laws are waiting to be discovered (a creator presupposed)

- that discovery and pursuit of science is an intrinsically good and noble thing (this creator tells humans to subdue and dominate the earth. The Psalms for instance say the works of God are to be studied, a scripture which was engraved into the Cavendish building, one of the science centres in England I believe)

- that human beings are precisely the kind of beings that can do science. (Because humans are made in the image of the creator)

As an atheist, what basis do you have to expect order in nature? What makes pursuit of truth through science and intrinsically good thing? Your brain was developed for survival and finding a mate, why would you trust such a brain to do science?

Again you make a very extraordinary claim when you say there is absolutely no proof whatsoever throughout history that the laws of physics have ever been broken. What is your extraordinary evidence for this claim?
