The Old Testament was for a specific people and for a specific time. Shariah is for all of mankind according according to islamic jurisprudence. Even second temple Judaism varied massively from first temple Judaism. Islam and Shariah has no such nuance.

You say early CHRISTianity (not Xtianity once again) was peaceful. NOT MOSTLY, just peaceful. Early Islam was militaristic. So thank you for making my point for me. One's original message was peaceful, the other's original message was military in nature.

You say Islam respects Christians and Jews. Nonsense there is an express command to fight and humiliate them in Surah 9:29 and Muhammad in the Hadith says to not greet them and push them to the narrowest bit of the road.

In the West, your so called civil freedoms are RESULTS of the various controversies and bad experiences the church occasioned. It was mostly Christians on both sides of the isle fighting over things then the results are those values that are cherished in the west (you can read Tom Holland's Dominion for more on this). I have possibly not explained this point properly but it would make sense once you read Tom Holland, who is not a Christian by the way.

That said, it has become to clear to me you don't know what you are talking about hence I will draw the line here, bid you godspeed and say thanks for the engagement.
