The sick sexual perversion inherent in Islam
It is a big pet peeve that infuriates me to no end when Muslim apologists take the moral high ground on matters of sex. Mehdi Hassan has recently had old videos of his recirculating of him calling non-Muslims “animals” and “cattle” which are straight out of the Quran by the way (Surah 8:55, 7:179). Ali Dawah on his video reacting to another viral video of a very Islamically clad individual soliciting “same sex relations” in Mecca during the Hajj had the temerity to refer to the West as depraved and blame pornography and the “Zionists” behind it for the issue (Always the Jews isn’t it?). Islam has been gaslighting us about being a religion that values chastity. We will do a kind of deep dive into how Islam is in actual fact obsessed with sex.
First, does Islam allow sex only within the framework of marriage? We refer to the Quran,
“And they who guard their private parts
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess…”
(Surah 23:5–6, 70:29–30)
Built into this sex system by default is sex with “those who your right hand possess”? These are female captives of war. Wrap your head around this, Allah deems you modest if you have sex with female captives in addition to your wives.
Speaking of wives, the Quran allows you marry more than one woman.
“…marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands possess…”
(Surah 4:3)
Built into this system is sex with multiple women under the guise of marriage. One wonders why sex with female captives are needed if one can have multiple wives.
Switching bases quite a bit. Islam permits having relations with children. This is a ruling over which there is no controversy under the Shariah. The Quran is clear on this,
“And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women — if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated…”
(Surah 65:4)
The above verse stipulates rules regarding the waiting period for remarriage after divorcing women. Included among those are “those who have not menstruated” and these of course refers to children. There is also the perfect example of Muhammad,
“Narrated `Aisha:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet (ﷺ) for nine years (i.e. till his death).”
(Sahih Al-Bukhari Book 67 Hadith 70)
Prophet Muhammad, at the age of fifty-two had sex with a nine year old girl.
It gets darker still in Islam. What exactly does Allah reward people who have served him well on earth? He rewards them with virgins for them to bang eternally, consider the following verses,
“Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed”
(Surah 36:55)
What exactly is this “happy employment”?
According to Tasfir Al-Jalalayn’s exegesis of this verse,
“Indeed today the inhabitants of Paradise are busy (read fī shughlin or fī shughulin), [oblivious] to what the inhabitants of the Fire are suffering, [busy] delighting in pleasures such as deflowering virgins — not busy with anything wearisome, as there is no toil in Paradise — rejoicing, blissful…”
There are other Quran verses who speak of the virgins of paradise,
“ Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them.”
(Surah 55:56)
And again,
“ Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.”
(Surah 44:54)
“Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes.”
(Surah 52:20)
Going further on this, Islam also allows temporary marriage or Mutah. The Quran endorses this in Surah 4:24,
“And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation.”
Now there is controversy as to whether this is allowed today or not but it is worth noting that, assuming it does not apply today, the prohibition of Mutah is in the hadith and done by Muhammad when Allah in the Quran says to do it. This begs the question, who really is God in Islam?
Secondly, why in the world was this ever allowed to begin with? Where is the sexual chastity in all of this?
Now what is the real world impact on all of this?
Recently we heard of a Turkish cleric complaining about how men without beards are causing temptation to other men. This however is not just one rogue sheikh, there is Islamic jurisprudence on beardless youth with some sources saying the command about “lowering your gaze to avoid temptation” applies to beardless youth. On this,
“Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Looking at the face of a beardless youth with desire is like looking as the face of a mahram or a non-mahram woman with desire, whether the desire is desire for intercourse or the desire to derive pleasure from looking. If he looks at his mother, sister or daughter with pleasure derived from looking like the pleasure derived from looking at a non-mahram woman, then it is known to everyone that this is haraam. The same applies to looking at the face of a beardless youth, according to scholarly consensus.”
Now, the above scholar does not just talk about beardless youth but also looking at one’s mother or sister. It is interesting such a ruling is needed.
In the real world, the Kaba during the Hajj has a reputation for being a place where women are grinded on and groped. The recent viral video Ali Dawah reviewed showed a Muslim man soliciting relations with a young man in Mecca. Pakistan is known for its uhm “exotic” tastes in P**n.
So what have we learned?
Islam is a religion obsessed with sex. It sexualises women, children, beardless youths and even heaven. There is nowhere in the Quran that says you can only have relations with your wife or wives.
