There was quite a stir caused by Donald Trump’s UN speech this week. He referenced London bringing in Sharia prompting the ever victimized Sadiq Kahn (A Muslim mayor in the capital of a Christian country) to call Trump everything his prophet is, a misogynist (Surah 4:34, 65:4, 70:30, 23:5–6, 24:33–34) and a racist (Surah 3:110,98:6). Keir Starmer on his part called the comments nonsense, again it is interesting how Starmer is a puppy in the presence of Donald Trump, even lying about his religious belief (a self professed atheist suddenly claiming he belongs to a church), being quiet when Trump called him out on his net zero policies and his impending decision to recognise the fictional Palestine…but once Trump is no longer there he can freely call his comments nonsense…but I digress…

Is Trump right?

Now there is a rule of thumb with Trump. The guy exaggerates everything so you cannot take what he says literally. I once heard somebody put it this way, “Take Donald Trump seriously but not literally”. His statement on London and Sharia is yet another apt instance of this rule applying.

Does the UK have a Sharia problem?

Why exactly has Keir Starmer recognised Palestine? Does it have something to do with the non-stop marches to free Palestine? Does it have something to do with the “Muslim bloc” of votes that was the backbone of his party?

Story after story after story of Muslims in speaker’s corner at Hyde Park ganging up on and even attacking Christian speakers like Hatun Tash week after week, month after month and Hatun being the one arrested. If Muslims do not like what Christians are saying, they can form a mob and get the police to evict the speaker.

There was another instance of a Muslim (or a Muslim mob) almost setting a Christian speaker ablaze in speaker’s corner. I do not know if there was anything that came from this police wise.

Muslim speakers can state on YouTube for example that in their ideal world, ex-Muslims who are open about their apostasy would have the capital punishment applied to them and they have no doubts. In response, the police say it was part of spirited debate so a crime was not committed yet there are people being arrested for posting “F**k Hamas” memes on X.

Moussa Kadiri came out with a knife (apparently a blunt knife) against a Turkish man protesting the actions of his government by burning a Quran, kicking him, spitting on him and saying he would kill him. The Turkish man burning the Quran was immediately charged with “harassment against the institution of Islam”. The charge was amended after some pressure from Robert Jenrick, he was fined a token amount and is now in hiding but Moussa Kadiri, was charged almost a year after and had his otherwise good character praised in court, emphasized he was a father and a contributor to the local charity. Moussa left the court smiling like a he-goat with an 18 month suspended sentence (aka no jail time). Never mind that the fact Lucy Connelly was a mother, had never been in trouble with the law before, had a husband to care for and had lost a child previously due to NHS neglect (I think).
