When your prophet was asked this question, why did he not say "we" refers to himself, Allah and Gabriel?

And when the Quran uses "We revealed" for prior revelation such as the Torah and the Gospel (Surah 5:44-47), is Muhammad participating in revelation of scriptures before he existed?
