Why the UK must stop immigration from Muslim countries now!

Introduction and Background

We have discussed ad nauseam the problems with Islamic doctrine, whether it is hatred for the unbeliever — especially Jews — (Surah 3:32, 30:45, 3:28, 5:51, 5:82, 60:4) or the call for violence against unbelievers based on what they believe (Surah 9:5, 9:29–30, 8:39) or mistreatment of women (Surah 4:34, 23:5–6, 70:30), advocating child marriage (Surah 65:4) and striking terror in the hearts of the unbelievers (Surah 8:12, 60) — to mention a few — with reference to the most authentic Islamic sources and exegetes.

We have also written a painstaking three part series showing that in every century of human history since the time of Muhammad till this very day, there has always been some sort of violence, hatred and persecution of religious minorities carried out in the name of Islam. This alone is reason to be very wary of immigration from Muslim countries because (assuming we are accurate about our analysis) the ideas Islam imbues in citizens of those countries are not automatically wiped out on the borders of the UK.

But let us ignore all of that for a minute, let us pretend there is nothing uniquely problematic about Islam and it has just been consistently misunderstood as calling for terror, hatred, misogyny and mayhem since the seventh century. Let us take a very different tact here. What if we went strictly by numbers and statistics in the UK?

Numbers don’t lie

According to a poll of UK Muslim attitudes compared to the general public conducted by the Henry Jackson Society in 2024,

• Almost 50% of British Muslims believe Jews have a disproportionate influence over UK and US foreign policy.
• 25% of British Muslims believe Israel/Palestine is the most important election issue compared to 3% of the British general public.
• 25% of British Muslims do not believe Hamas committed rape and murder on October 7th.
• Only 25% of British Muslims believe Israel has a right to exist in their Jewish homeland.
• 53% of British Muslims believe Hamas’ aim on October 7th was to forward the Palestinian cause.
• 52% of British Muslims want to make it illegal to show a picture of Muhammad.
• 57% of British Muslims want halal food to be compulsory in all schools and hospitals.
• 33% desire Sharia to be implemented in the UK. Only 23% outright say it is undesirable.

Assume everything that has been discussed about antisemitism in both Islamic history and Islamic sources has been grossly misrepresented. What do the above numbers tell you? Does it scream love for Jews? Do those statistics scream “assimilation” to anybody? 52% of Muslims in the UK want people in jail (or worse) for showing a picture of Muhammad, let that sink in! 33% of Muslims (upwards of 2 million) desire Sharia! Does this highlight an embrace of the UK’s religious freedoms or its principle of tolerance?

Secondly, we go to the UK Counter Terrorism Police statistics. According to its latest factsheet in February 2025,

• The largest single focus of its investigation is “Islamist extremist terrorism” in many cases inspired and in some cases enabled by groups such as the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda.
• Of the 254 persons in custody for terrorism and terror related offences, 62% were categorized as holding Islamist extremist views.
• Of the 254 persons above, 63% self identified as Muslims
• Since 9–11, the foreign nationals with the most arrests in connection with terrorism are as follows: Algeria, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Somalia, Sri Lanka, India.
• Investigations for terrorism and terrorism connected offences with MI5 is roughly 75% Islamist terrorism.

Adding to this, a survey of the list of proscribed terror groups in the UK shows that Islam is once again over represented. There are 84 proscribed terror organisations in the UK. Of them, the following are related to or affiliate themselves with Islam.

At least 58 out of 84 (69%) proscribed terror organisations are affiliated with Islam (Palestine Action included because the Palestinian cause is first and foremost a matter rooted in Islam). Why is Islam so disproportionately represented both in terms of terrorist organisations and investigations in the UK? Why are 7 out of the 9 top foreign national arrests by the counter terrorism police from countries that have Islam as the dominant religion?

We go to statistics on sexual offences. We need not speak of the UK grooming gangs which we now know was made up on men of predominantly Pakistani Muslim origin with names like “Muhammad”, “Abubakar” and “Umar”. But not just that, we look specifically at convictions from sexual offences based on research carried out by Migration Central.

The top 20 foreign nationalities with the highest convictions (note convictions not offenders) were as follows:

Note that at least 10 of these countries — Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea, Turkey, Egypt , Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh — (a whopping 50%) are Islamic countries.

Again, why is Islam disproportionately represented in these statistics?

But not all Muslims are terrorists and rapists

To this, I will say Yes and Amen. Definitely, not all Muslims are terrorists and rapists but that is completely besides the point. The issue is why in the world are Muslim nations massively over represented when it comes to antisemitism, terror and sexual offences against women in the UK?

Could it be that those who are pointing to the origin of these attitudes, sentiments and behaviors in the Islamic sources are on to something after all?

But what about the peaceful Muslims?

The peaceful Muslims are completely irrelevant to this conversation. For all the noise we hear about “extremist” Muslims being a fringe minority, they have the most devastating effect on the population they unleash themselves on. Axel Rudabakana is a minority and his “extremist views” are allegedly very fringe. Yet he has now permanently (and based on reports, remorselessly) deprived three families of their young daughters. Those girls are never coming back and those who knew them have had their lives irreversibly affected.

Michael Adebolajo — the lovely chap who beheaded Lee Rigby — is part of the “0.01% that does not represent true Islam”, yet his actions have permanently deprived a family of a husband, father, son and brother. What exactly do the peaceful Muslims do? Say “This in no way represents us!”. How exactly does that help those who have been affected? Not at all!

Interesting how these peaceful Muslims never protest against the “extremists” , child abusers and terrorists in their midst with the same gusto they will protest against Israel’s “Genocide in Gaza” for instance. It is also very interesting that when a “peaceful Muslim” tries to speak up, like Lubna from the Candid with Lubna YouTube channel, they get so much death threats that they have to leave their home town and no British Muslim YouTuber speaks up in their defence. Funny that isn’t it?

But I digress…

A game of numbers

But if the UK stops immigration from Muslim countries, it will lose all the nice and peaceful Muslims who could come in and contribute to the economy and grow it!

This is simple maths, it is literally a game of numbers. If a minority...and only a fringe minority of Muslims hold views that are terrible for the UK, why continue to increase the risk of importing more of such people by continuing to open immigration to such countries? If for every 1,000 Muslims from those countries, there is potentially one terrorist who like Axel Rudabakana or Michael Adebolajo can do something to hurt citizens of the UK and adversely impact their lives in the name of Islam, why continue to take that risk? Why not shut the door on that immediately and import zero potential terrorists?

What about UK terrorists?

Again the fact there are already terrorists in the UK does not mean it should put itself at risk of importing foreign terrorists. It makes no sense to import more terrorists because the UK already has terrorists of its own.

Is this a Christian position to hold?

But what about people fleeing war zones and all kinds of persecution in their home countries? Should the UK not help them? Would that not be the Christian thing to do?

Well according to the New Testament, the government has a duty to protect its own citizens (including by waging war where necessary like Israel is currently doing) , particularly the tax payer.

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.”

(Romans 13:1,4–6)

The idea that the government should neglect the rights, freedoms and welfare of its own people and its own taxpayers in favour of foreign nationals who do not pay tax to it is not a Christian concept. According to Paul in Romans, the citizens pay the government tax in exchange for its protection but what occurs in the UK is the government taking the tax payers’ money and using it to care for foreigners who do not contribute anything to the system. This ought not to be so. The primary duty of a government is to its own tax paying citizens.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there is a huge problem with Islam. We can dispute and argue over “misinterpretations” and whether its sources actually call for the things it obviously sounds like they are calling for but what we cannot argue with is the statistics that show Muslims and Muslim countries are disproportionately represented in all the things critics of Islam argue that the Islamic sources call for (i.e. terror, hatred for non-believers, misogyny and antisemitism to mention a few). This shows beyond doubt that Islam is very unique in this regard and there definitely is a correlation there.

If this is the case, the million dollar question is why does the UK continue to risk bringing more and more people that, based on the statistics, are hostile to and have no regard for its values? Why not ban immigration from these Islamic countries and cultures altogether?
