Not all religions are due respect. Some religions (based on their revealed truth) permit children as young as 6 to be married to men 9 times their age and call for the violent death of those who do not believe in it. Some African religions demand sacrifice of human heads or the blood of children. You have to be sick and unfortunate to respect those religions and beliefs.

Christianity centres on Christ, His divinity and His death and resurrection. Any religion that downplays, denies, fails to acknowledge or twists any element of this is a slap on the Christian faith. If these religions do not respect the Christian faith then why respect them?

I was clear to emphasize, we must respect people deserving of our respect irrespective of their religion, we can be friendly and bond with people on all manner of themes but not on the theme of "all religions are equally true and lead to the same God" because that is simply not true.
